Art Fairs

Virtually no cities are entirely 24-hours all year round, but both Hong Kong and Abu Dhabi’s late-night hours extend the hours of a city’s economy, making them Asia's and Middle East’s most vibrant cities, abuzz with different ventures day and night that never repeat.

 

Our exhibition titled “This City Never Sleeps” will depict the experiences of people around the world as they navigate the challenges and joys of returning to their pre-pandemic lives. It will not only showcase the incredible creativity and observation of the artists, but it will also serve as a reflection of the collective experience of our society. Each piece will offer a glimpse into the struggles,triumphs, and emotions that have defined this unprecedented time in our history. We believe that our exhibition would be powerful and thought-provoking It would not only showcase the incredible creativity of these artists but also provide a space for reflection and contemplation on what it means to move forward in a post-pandemic world.

 

SC Gallery is going to present 3 Hong Kong artists at this art fair, They are Jeremy Fung ( b 1990), AnnNg (b 1991) and Jacky Tao ( b 1996).

 

Jeremy Fung explores the issue of human existence through his practice. In this show, Jeremy has dedicated his practice to understanding the impact of pandemic on our lives and the ways in which it has transformed our understanding of ourselves and our place in the world. Through the exploration of themes such as isolation, loss and resilience which artist has experienced through the past three years, Jeremy has created a new body of work that speaks to the shared experiences of people around the globe, providing a powerful and poignant commentary on the human condition in the wake of COVID 19.His work reminds us of the importance of art in helping is navigate difficult times, providing us with a means of processing our emotions and connecting with one another in a time of social distancing.
